TANGIPAHOA PARISH - Two people were killed in two separate shootings in Tangipahoa Parish on Friday. 

Friday morning, a stray bullet came through 18-year-old La’Airrah Dupard's bedroom window. She was found dead around 9 a.m. in her Independence apartment. Officials said Dupard was not the intended target and was standing near her window when she was hit. 

Friday evening, a fight in Kentwood ended in gunfire. Deputies said that 41-year-old Gerald Harvey was in a fight with located 38-year-old Renaldo Brumfield. TPSO said Brumfield was shot to death and Harvey was immediately identified as the suspect and jailed for second-degree murder.
