Former Livingston Parish football coach pleads not guilty to molestation, indecent behavior

WATSON — Former Live Oak High School defensive backs coach Stepfan Henderson has pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to indecent behavior and molestation charges.
Henderson, 34, was arrested in May by Livingston Parish deputies and charged with indecent behavior and molestation of a juvenile - forcible fondling. A school district spokesperson at the time told WBRZ that Henderson was placed on leave in mid-April after officials received a complaint of misconduct.
Henderson worked at the school district as a business English and technical writing teacher, as well as an assistant football coach, for two years. The district said it chose to not renew Henderson’s employment contract, which expired at the end of last school year.
A motions hearing has been scheduled for Nov. 2.
