BATON ROUGE — Two people are critically injured after a crash along Perkins Road between Bluebonnet Boulevard and Essen Lane on Tuesday morning. 

The two-car crash happened around 7:25 a.m. near Bles Avenue, officials told WBRZ.

First responders, including the Baton Rouge Police Department, Baton Rouge EMS, the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office and the St. George Fire Department, were called to the scene.
