BATON ROUGE - Baton Rouge area business leaders say they are expecting plenty of LSU fans to come out and watch one of the biggest games of the season.

"We do a little bit better for the away games because people just kind of want to sit down and have a chill environment to watch the game if they are not going to make the trip to Oxford, or anywhere else," Zee Zee's Kitchen and Cocktails General Manager Brayden Vallot said.

With more people comes the need for more food and drinks. Vallot said they are making sure the establishment is fully stocked with its most popular items.

"We have our one-dollar chicken tenders, the all-day happy hour, stuff like that, so we know that we got to get more of that stuff prepped, more of that stuff in the kitchen. We know obviously on the bar end that we have to get more beer, more seltzers, more liquor in general because people are buying it," Vallot said.

Over at KOK Wings and Things, preparation is underway for a watch party.

"Bartenders coming in tonight to prep some more of the pre-made mixed drinks and shots, so we have the ability to get to that volume and deal with it," KOK Wings and Things Chief Marketing Officer and co-owner Tre'Jan Vinson said.

Vinson says he's anticipating that they will reach max capacity before kick-off.

"I'm more than sure everyone's aware Lane Kiffin used to be the head coach of Ole Miss before taking his position at LSU, and that drives people's intensity to see it done. With it being an away game, it's going to draw more attention for people, families, friends looking for a place to go," Vinson said.
