BATON ROUGE — The Southern University Jaguars are back on The Bluff this weekend for their Homecoming game against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Saturday. 

Saturday's return to Baton Rouge comes after a 35-17 loss to Jackson State that highlighted existing issues: inconsistency and slow starts on both sides of the ball. 

Going into their homecoming game, the Jags are 2-3, with coach Marshall Faulk expected to share more about what the team is doing to prepare for the game after Tuesday's practice. 

The Jags and the Golden Lions face off at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
