BATON ROUGE — The Louisiana Christian Resource Center held its inaugural Good Friday Unity Service on Friday. 

The special community worship experience brought together multiple ministry leaders and congregations from across the Baton Rouge area for a service centered on "The 7 Last Sayings of Christ from the Cross." 

"This service represents more than a moment of reflection. It is an intentional effort to bring ministries together in unity, faith and shared purpose," Rev. Carla Powell Lewis, host and leader of the Louisiana Christian Resource Center, said.

The service featured reflections from several pastors, including Pastor Exlymonda Britten from the Greater Grace Church of God in Christ International, Pastor Tarron James from Trinity Word of Faith Ministry, Apostle Cedric White from The Reset of Church of Baton Rouge and Pastor Christopher Strahan from the Circle of Life Interdenominational Christian Center.
