BATON ROUGE — LSU women's basketball is less than two months away, and the Lady Tigers are hitting the court Monday as practice tips off. 

The Kim Mulkey-led team starts practice at 1:30 p.m., with Mulkey, entering her sixth year as head coach, speaking at 1 p.m. ahead of practice starting.

The women's basketball season officially starts on Nov. 2 with a home game against the Southeastern University Lady Lions, but the Tigers are playing two exhibition games against UNT Dallas and Loyola New Orleans on Oct. 22 and Oct. 29, respectively.
